Welcome to Mnemi

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mnemi, a personal AI memory companion service. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Service Provider

Mnemi is operated by DTP Tech LP, established in Greece (EU).

Using Mnemi

To use Mnemi, you must:

• Meet the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction
• Create an account with accurate information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Use the service in compliance with applicable laws

Mnemi is not intended for children. By using the service, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement in your country.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Mnemi, including memories, voice recordings, and chat messages. By using our service, you grant us a non-exclusive, limited license to:

• Store and display your content to you
• Process your content through AI features you choose to use
• Create backups for service reliability

This license is limited to operating and improving the service for you. It ends when you delete your account, except for backups retained according to our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your content or use it to train AI models.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Mnemi to:

• Store illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or exploit the service
• Abuse, manipulate, or overload AI features (including automated prompt farming)

Subscriptions and Payments

Mnemi offers free and paid subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Basic features with usage limits
• Plus Tier: Enhanced features at €5/month

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

We may update pricing or plan features with reasonable advance notice via email. Current subscribers will be notified before any price change affects their next billing cycle.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment and notify you. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.

Refund Policy

As a digital service that begins immediately upon subscription, you acknowledge that the service starts right away with your consent.

We consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of the charge, taking into account:

• The amount of service usage during the billing period
• How much AI processing has been consumed
• Time elapsed since the charge

Refunds are generally not available when significant AI credits have been consumed during the billing period.

To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of your charge at support@mnemi.app. We will review your request and respond promptly. Refunds, if approved, will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We'll provide notice when possible.

We are not responsible for data loss caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

AI Features

Mnemi uses AI to enhance your experience through summaries, insights, and chat responses. AI-generated content is provided for convenience and may not always be accurate. You should not rely on AI outputs for critical decisions.

AI outputs do not constitute professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Limitation of Liability

Mnemi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection laws.

Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your access to the service ends immediately. Your data will be deleted according to the timelines specified in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. If you continue using Mnemi after changes take effect, we consider that acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with changes, you may close your account.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
